The venue is located on the outskirts of Bute Park, opposite the Temple of Peace and a few minutes from the city centre.
You can easily arrive on foot from the city centre by following North Road around the castle walls, you could also walk through Bute Park if crossing the river Taf from the west.
If you don't fancy the walk we would recommend using the local taxi service, Dragon's Taxis (02920 333 333) or Uber. Be aware that this service (especially Uber) can be unreliable so ensure you book in plenty of time.
Cardiff central station is approximately twenty minutes away. There are several bus routes passing the location frequently.
Note times may change closer to the time
Morning
We ask that you reach the main entrance to the site promptly by 11:15 a.m, where our ushers will take you to your seats in the Dora Stoutzker hall.
Afternoon
After the ceremony, we will assemble to have canapes and drinks (hopefully in the sun!) and to take pictures. There will be an opportunity to follow the bride and groom for a short walk towards the castle before following the river back to the site. We will be seated for a three-course meal (see menu). Speeches from our family and friends will follow.
Evening
At 7 p.m, evening guests will arrive and the band will start playing soon after. The bar will close at 12:30am and everyone will need to leave the premises by 1 a.m.
On Saturday we will be gathering at a local pub to continue the celebration and everyone is welcome to join!
Your company is what is most important to us on our big day, but if you wish we would appreciate a financial contribution towards our honeymoon.
